The 35th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show will once again take place on
March 14-15-16, 2024 at the old Myrtle Square Mall, show hours are 8am to 5pm.
Luke Duke and The Blues Brothers coming to Run to the Sun
The Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is pleased to announce celebrity appearance of Tom Wopat, Luke Duke from the iconic 1980's TV series “The Dukes of Hazzard” which aired 147 episodes over 6 years. Tom has been performing in stage musicals since the age of 12. Raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm, educated at the UW- Madison, Wopat has enjoyed a multi -faceted career in film, television, on the Broadway stage, and singing in venues as varied as Carnegie Hall, The Grand Ol’ Opry, and the Hollywood Bowl. He has also recorded 12 albums in the last 35 years, the most recent being July’s release, the eponymous singer/songwriter- styled “Wopat”. We welcome The Blues Brothers with Stan and Bob Hammond as Jake and Elwood Blues. The brothers have been performing as Jake and Elwood Blues from the hit 1980 movie "The Blues Brothers" for almost a decade and will be at Run to the Sun with the Bluesmobile, their 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan.
