Ford is recalling nearly 2 million Explorer crossovers in the U.S. due to loose trim near the windshield. The recall affects models from 2011-2019 and there have been over 14,300 warranty claims related to the issue. Customers may notice gaps or hear rattling or wind noise. Dealers will inspect and replace the trim as necessary. Ford had the most recalls of any U.S. automaker in 2023.
