After more than a decade of high-speed off-road trucks dominating the performance pickup market, Ram is bringing back the street-focused sport truck. We’ve known for quite a while that the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup of muscle trucks is coming, but now we know how much buying one will sting: at least $59,995.

As Ram’s Tim Kuniskis told Jay Leno when he visited his garage, he’s happy to fill in the pavement-only sport truck hole in the market. All Rumble Bees are based on a 1500 Quad Cab with a short bed, which reduces the wheelbase by 13 inches and increases agility. The body is six inches wider for better handling and stability. As Diego explained in a breakdown of the lineup, “Also included is full-time active four-wheel drive via a Borg Warner 48-11 transfer case with a variable torque split. Press a button next to the console shifter and that will disconnect the front axle for true rear-wheel-drive operation.”

The biggest difference between the three models is what’s under the hood. A 395-horsepower 5.7-liter Hemi gives the entry-level Rumble Bee its buzz. Technically, the Rumble Bee starts under 60 large with its $59,995 price tag, but you have to factor in the $2,795 destination charge (a true beeline would be quicker and cheaper).

For the first time ever, Ram put the 6.4-liter “Apache” Hemi V-8 in a 1500 for the 470-horsepower Rumble Bee 392. With that increase in power comes an increase in the base price to $69,995 ($72,790 with destination). To better channel that grunt to the pavement, you can upgrade to the $79,995 ($82,790 with destination) Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack, which adds more aggressive aero, air suspension, Bilstein Damptronic Sky dual-valve performance shocks, track drive mode, locking electronic spool differential, bigger brakes, and more.

The flagship Rumble Bee SRT flies under the $100,000 mark with a base price of $94,995 ($97,790 with destination). Like the more expensive TRX SRT uber-off-roader, it comes equipped with a 777-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi as well as many of the same upgrades on the 392 Track Pack. According to Stellantis, the Rumble Bee SRT “crushes 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, rips through the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at 116 mph, and rockets to a targeted top speed of 170 mph.”

Now that we know the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee pricing structure, all we have to do is wait until the trucks arrive in dealerships. Expect to see the base Rumble Bees late this year and the Rumble Bee 392s, 392 Track Packs, and Rumble Bee SRTs in the first half of 2027.
