Not all vintage cars are as similar as they might seem. Just look at these three models we spotted at the Arizona Concours d’Elegance, which prove how quickly things were changing in the first half of the 20th century. Together they tell quite an interesting story, one in which American cars went from being simple, practical machines to possessions that said a lot about their owners. In this video, we take a look at a wicker-bodied 1924 Ford Model T, a 1929 Cord L-29 Cabriolet, and a 1935 Auburn 851 Super-Charged Speedster.
Each one represents a different step in how cars evolved from basic transportation to things people could dream about — tell us your favorite down in the comments below!
