It may be hard to believe, but the 2027 model year marks 10 years since the fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler, aka the JL, debuted for 2018. Jeep has added more tech and comfort features, and new colors to the Wrangler lineup to refresh it for 2027. And don’t worry if you missed out on the Twelve 4 Twelve special editions because some of those are coming back.

Jeep is known for offering the Wrangler in unusual colors and it’s keeping the tradition alive with the addition of the all-new colors Ghost, Fathom Blue, and Gum 31. Off-road adventures in the Sport S and Willys models can start a little sooner thanks to standard passive entry. The two-door Wrangler Willys gets a vented power dome hood so now it’ll match its larger, four-door sibling.

The bulk of the changes to the ’27 Wrangler are inside the cabin. The Sport, Sport S, and Willys models now show some of their important info on a seven-inch TFT color instrument cluster. McKinley leatherette seats, side steps, nine-speaker Alpine audio system, navigation, off-road TrailCam, and other features make the Sahara trim level even more upscale. Rubicons get their own luxury content: heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and navigation.

It turns out that some of the special-edition Twelve 4 Twelve models were so special that Jeep is offering them again for 2027. If you want the 470-horsepower 6.4-liter Hemi under the hood, you can get it in the Moab 392 or Willys 392. Do you miss the classic CJ-Universal? Then check out the Wrangler Whitecap.
