To some people, factory horsepower and torque ratings are just a starting point. Ram knows that, which is why it developed its 2027 Rumble Bee muscle trucks with future Direct Connection upgrades in mind. All three models can be upgraded with higher supercharged power, better handling, a throatier exhaust note, and special graphics.
In stock form, the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup’s 5.7-liter, 6.4-liter, and 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8s generate healthy amounts of horsepower, ranging from 395 at the low end to 470 in the middle to 777 at the high end. If you want to bump those numbers up — and you’re willing to pay $10,995, plus the cost of installation — you can get a Direct Connection 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger kit.
Provided Direct Connection hits its output targets, the entry-level Rumble Bee will pump out more than 600 horsepower, the Rumble Bee 392/392 Track Pack will generate over 700, and the Rumble Bee SRT will crank out a colossal 900-plus horses. Each blower comes with an oversized air-to-water intercooler, high-capacity coolant pump, special hood badges, and a model-specific supercharger cover color. If it’s installed by an ASE-certified Mopar tech, it’ll be covered by Ram’s five-year/60,000-mile limited vehicle powertrain warranty.
Power is great, but it’s even better when paired with the right sound. To give Ram’s muscle trucks a fuller, more aggressive exhaust note, Direct Connection offers stainless steel cat-back exhaust systems from MagnaFlow. Each setup consists of three-inch mandrel-bent tubing, an X-pipe, five-inch black exhaust tips with Direct Connection branding, a limited lifetime warranty, and a one-year warranty for the exhaust tips. Pricing (before installation) depends on the truck: $1,599 for the Rumble Bee, $2,299 for the Rumble Bee 392/392 Track Pack, and $2,399 for the Rumble Bee SRT.
Suspension packages from Ridetech enable the Rumble Bee and Rumble Bee 392 to fly lower to the ground (or track). The HQ-series coilovers are coupled with tubular front control arms, and offer 24-way adjustable damping. They drop the front end one inch and lower the rear end three inches, but they also raise the price of both trucks by $4,590 (plus the cost of installation). Ridetech covers its hardware with a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
Release dates for Direct Connection’s upgrades coordinate with the roll-out schedule for their respective Rumble Bee models: Q4 of 2026 for the base Rumble Bee and the first half of 2027 for the Rumble Bee 392/392 Track Pack and Rumble Bee SRT.
