Pierce Brosnan played James Bond in the 2002 blockbuster “Die Another Day,” but the star of the film was a 2002 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish equipped with adaptive camouflage, tires with retractable spikes, weapons, and other gadgets. With the introduction of the Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster built in partnership with Brough Superior, I can only wonder how Q would modify the new motorcycle.

Assembled, machined, and designed at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, France, this bike’s heart beats with a four-stroke, water-cooled, 130-horsepower 1083cc V-Twin. Built with CNC-machined billet engine cases and aerospace-grade materials, the engine is crafted to optimize structural efficiency and reduce weight. Suffice it to say, it has more than enough power for James to make a quick getaway if he needed — even before MI6 gets ahold of it.

At only 419 pounds, this motorcycle is nimble enough to weave through traffic and light enough for a rider to experience every bit of performance the drivetrain has to offer. Contributing to the lightweight construction are the carbon fiber body panels and fuel tank, which also create a low center of gravity and a strong sense of balance. Speaking of balance, the structure of this motorcycle achieves a 50/50 weight distribution thanks to its titanium frame. Theoretically, Q would have to mount the same machine gun on both sides to maintain that distribution.

The AMB 002 Roadster also features proprietary backbone architecture and a unique suspension system from Brough Superior. The double wishbone “Fior Fork” front suspension “separates steering and braking forces while maintaining precise control of the front-end geometry,” assisting rider confidence by making it safer to rip through tight corners at high speeds and easier to stop.
Production of the hand-built AMB 002 Roadster motorcycle will be strictly limited to 300 examples. Initial orders are now open, and deliveries will begin in Q3 of 2027, according to Aston Martin. Unfortunately, any weapons and gizmos will have to be installed by the new owner and not a secret British intelligence organization.
