AutoHunter Spotlight: 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan

Right now on AutoHunter, you can get this restored 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan, which is powered by a reportedly matching-numbers Turbo-Thrift 250ci inline-six mated to a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Finished in burgundy over a fawn cloth and vinyl interior, this classic Chevy is now offered by the selling dealer in St. Louis with a clear title.

As part of the restoration process, the paint color was changed from the original Ermine White to the current burgundy. Exterior features include silver bumpers, silver and bright trim, driver-side mirror, and single exhaust outlet.

Thanks to an air suspension, this Bel Air can sit nice and low on its 15-inch body-color steel wheels and Goodyear Polyglas tires. Behind the wheels is a set of manual drum brakes.

The cabin features two rows of bench seats covered in fawn cloth and vinyl. It also comes equipped with power steering, under-dash controls for the air suspension, column-mounted automatic shifter, heater, and aftermarket stereo in the glove box. An airmaxxx 480 air compressor for the suspension is mounted in the trunk.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and fuel gauge. The odometer shows 18,628 miles, but the title indicates that this car is mileage-exempt.

According to the dealer, the 155-horsepower Turbo-Thrift 250ci I-6 under the hood is original to the car. It comes equipped with 8.5:1 compression and a one-barrel carburetor. A Powerglide two-speed automatic delivers the engine’s output to the 10-bolt rear end.

If you want this 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan delivered to your house, bid on it now. Keep doing that until the auction ends on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. (PDT).
