AutoHunter Spotlight: 1964 Buick Riviera

Right now on AutoHunter, you can get this 1964 Buick Riviera, powered by a Wildcat 465 425ci V-8 paired with a Super Turbine 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Highlights include air suspension, power steering and brakes, and air conditioning. Finished in powder blue over a light blue leather interior, this partially restored American classic is now offered by the selling dealer in New York with an owner’s manual, wheel covers, and transferable New York registration.

Originally Wedgewood Blue, the body was repainted the current powder blue. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, quad round headlights, hood ornament, bright trim, remote-adjustable driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust outlets. Pinstriping decorates the hood, B-pillars, and trunk lid.

This Riviera flows down the road on a Ridetech air suspension. A set of 235/75 American Classic whitewall radial tires surround the 15-inch steel wheels, which are protected by Riviera wheel covers.

Inside, the original blue vinyl upholstery on the front bucket seats and the two rear seats was replaced with the current light blue leather. Interior features include power steering, clock, retro-look AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, factory air conditioning, center console with automatic shifter, and Ridetech air suspension controller.

Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights for the oil pressure, temperature, and amps. The odometer shows 31,115 miles, but this Riviera is mileage-exempt, according to its title.

Between the peaks of the front fenders is a Wildcat 465 425ci V-8. With 10.25:1 compression and a four-barrel carburetor, it was factory-rated for 340 horsepower and — as its name suggests — 465 lb-ft of torque. A Super Turbine 400 three-speed automatic transmission delivers the engine’s grunt to the 3.23 rear end. Power drum brakes keep the Wildcat from becoming absolutely feral.

If you want to get this 1964 Buick Riviera, go wild and start bidding on it now. Don’t stop until the auction ends on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (PDT).
