The latest Ford Bronco has been a massive sales success since its debut about five years ago. In 2025, the model had its best year to date, with over 146,000 units finding new homes. Part of the SUV’s popularity has been driven by nostalgia for old models like our Pick of the Day, a 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer that is currently listed for sale on ClassicCars.com by a private seller in Caro, Michigan.
“This Bronco has been cared for as a collector vehicle and has earned both AACA Junior and Senior National awards, reflecting its excellent condition and originality,” the listing begins. “The included Deluxe Marti Report documents its original factory configuration, including the Scarlet/Chestnut color combination and Eddie Bauer package.”
Similar to the prior iteration, the fourth-generation (1987-91) full-sized Bronco shared architecture with the F-150 pickup. It had the unmistakable “Bricknose” front end with composite headlamps, reshaped hood, and redesigned front grille. Features of this show-quality example include chrome bumpers, antenna, Eddie Bauer badging, pinstriping, full-sized spare tire on a swing-away carrier, and steel wheels with polished trim rings.
Ford and Eddie Bauer, a brand well-known for its outdoor recreation gear and apparel, first started collaborating back in 1983. Eddie Bauer-trimmed Broncos became known throughout the 1980s and ‘90s for being top-line models. The cabin of this Bronco is upholstered in tan cloth, and features include bucket seats, power windows (including the rear window!), power door locks, power steering, and center console.
I love how the upholstery has multicolor embroidered trees on the backrests — a nod to the Bronco’s go-anywhere, outdoorsy positioning.
Under the hood is Ford’s tried-and-true 5.0-liter V-8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The seller says, “It runs and drives exceptionally well.” The odometer reads just 72,804 miles, which the seller says is an accurate reading.
