It seems like only yesterday we were counting cars in Scottsdale, but now the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction has kicked off its three-day event at the South Florida Fairgrounds with exciting vehicles and events and activities worthy of reminiscing.
The Opening Night Party the evening before the gates officially opened began with the acclaimed sounds of Libido. Then, on the morning of Day 1, Thursday, April 16, the Automobilia Auction maintained the momentum, with over 100 authentic automobilia pieces offered with No Reserve.
This was followed by over 200 collector vehicles crossing the block, some eliciting cheers from the audience, such as a finned, Heather Purple 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Seville that sold for $88,000. Here’s the Top 5 for Thursday (click on each name to be taken to the respective docket):
After the auction, guests enjoyed the daily Barrett-Jackson commemorative poster giveaway and photo op on the auction block. A different design will be available each day!
Join Barrett-Jackson on Day 2, April 17, for Big Friday at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. Children 12 years of age and younger automatically receive complimentary admission at the door, while student tickets (age 13 through college age) are just $10. Discounts are available for seniors, military and first responders.
