The 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT is a $100,000 Supertruck

For the 2025 model year, Ram pulled the 5.7-liter Hemi from the 1500’s engine lineup. Since then, the company has made it clear that it’s pro-V-8. Ram brought back the 5.7 for 2026. The 2027 Rumble Bee lineup offers that engine as well as the 392 and the supercharged Hellcat. Ram even topped the old TRX with the 2027 TRX SRT by giving it more horsepower and torque. With that comes a higher MSRP of $99,995 (plus a $2,795 destination charge).

When Ram introduced the TRX as a 2021 model, it combined a suspension designed for high-speed off-roading with something that the Ford F-150 Raptor didn’t offer at the time: supercharged V-8 power. The TRX, which Ram called “the apex predator of the truck world,” was far more ferocious than the Raptor with output figures of 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Those big numbers added up to an MSRP of $69,995.

The 2027 TRX SRT (as in the relaunched Street and Racing Technology division) has evolved into an even more sophisticated and powerful Raptor hunter. Thanks to “updated engine management and new hardware,” the Hellcat under the hood now cranks out 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque — numbers which top those of the Raptor R’s supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 by 57 and 40, respectively. With Launch Control engaged, a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds is possible. Keep the hammer down and the TRX will hit 118 mph.

Off-road, the TRX’s 35-inch tires, Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive shocks, Ram Active Terrain Dynamics suspension management, 11.8 inches of ground clearance, and 14 inches of rear axle travel enable it to roam almost anywhere it wants to go.

Of course, the new TRX’s stratospheric price buys more than just power. It also gets you standard features that include leather and suede upholstery, carbon fiber trim, 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, 10-inch head-up display, 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and more. Like the Hurricane-powered RHO, the TRX also comes with Hands-free Active Drive Assist for L2+ automated driving capability.

Options range from a dual-pane panoramic sunroof to 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels. An additional $9,995 buys you the Bloodshot Night Edition package, which distinguishes itself from the base TRX with “a hand-painted Blacktop upper with Flame Red hood stripe, unique exterior splash graphics, red interior accents and beadlock-capable wheels” along with additional exterior and interior cosmetic changes.

You won’t have to wait long to get your hands on the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT. The order banks are open now and the trucks will start rolling into dealerships this summer. Expect to see street drags between new TRXs and Raptor Rs very soon.
