Despite Jon Bon Jovi’s insistence in the 1986 song “Never Say Goodbye” to not say goodbye, sometimes we need to. As unfortunate as it may be, some relationships, trends, and styles have run their course, and it’s time to move on (I’m looking at you, mullets). In the case of McLaren, it has decided to say goodbye by announcing it is taking final orders for the 750S as production will end in 2027.
“The 750S represents everything that defines a McLaren supercar: benchmark performance, thrilling driver engagement, technical innovation, expressive design, and defined personalization. It will leave behind an extraordinary legacy,” says Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, chief commercial officer of McLaren Automotive.

Originally launched in 2023 as an evolution of the 720S, the 750S brought 30% new components, lighter construction (now 2,815 pounds dry), and an updated driver-centered environment.
Clients of the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) bespoke vehicle service can use the 750S as a canvas to create a truly individual McLaren. All it takes is a unique supercar vision to result in a limited or one-off commission.

The 750S has also won McLaren several awards including: Drivers Union Automotive Awards Best Supercar (twice), four different Robb Report awards in 2024 and 2025 including 2025 Car of the Year, and Top Gear Speed Week Winner and Performance Car of the Year in 2024.
At the moment, McLaren has not publicly indicated what the next platform (if not the planned successor to the 750S) will be, but we know the McL 6GT concept has just appeared on Jay Leno’s show, and the company has hinted at a high-performance SUV.
