Personalization is all the rage these days! Every November, we visit SEMA to see what’s going on in the aftermarket, so we know. However, with Dodge, you don’t have to resort to flipping through your favorite parts catalog — you can customize your vehicle from the factory with an all-new color called Red Oxide. It’s currently available on the Durango, but it was unveiled for the 2027 Dodge Charger at the Woodward Dream Cruise in metropolitan Detroit.
“At Dodge, color is another way our customers can express their personality and make a statement,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “With the recent introduction of Purple Haze, Red Oxide gives Charger customers another bold way to personalize their Charger and make it their own.”
Appearing at Dodge’s Woodward Dream Cruise display was a Red Oxide 2027 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, along with the recently announced Dodge Charger Super Bee and Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen concept. In addition, there was a wide range of custom vehicles, including a Toxic Orange Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, Cha Ching Charger Scat Pack, and Charger models featuring the available Tinted Stripes graphic package.

Red Oxide will be available for 2027 Dodge Charger orders starting in September 2026 at a cost of $695. If your weapon of choice is a Charger Scat Pack or Daytona Scat Pack, your purchase will include one day of performance driving instruction at the Radford Racing School.
“From custom colors to graphics and stripe packages, we’ve put a spotlight on personalization throughout the summer, and Red Oxide continues that momentum by giving customers even more ways to make their Dodge muscle car uniquely their own, straight from the factory,” McAlear said. “It’s a color that looks different depending on the light and brings even more personality to the Charger lineup.”
The new color joins the aforementioned Purple Haze, Bludicrous, Green Machine, Redeye, Sub-Zero, White Knuckle, and Diamond Black options that can be selected to give every Charger its own flair.
